I travel in my job. Will this Program support the mobility aspect?
ANSWER: Without a doubt. The mobility factor is geared for both auto as well as air travel. The mobility factor will allow you to support every detail of your hectic life in any environment.
Do I have to invest in a PDA to have this program be successful?
ANSWER: No, a book calendar system will work, however if your job involves field work or travel, a PDA gives you the advantage of synchronizing to your office computer, thereby receiving all e-mails timely and allowing you to make computerized calendar entries only once.
I am currently using a book calendar system. Will this be as effective for me if I am away from the office a good deal of the time?
ANSWER: While I travel a good deal, I have always used a paper-based organizer, logging my appointments, Pendings, phone calls in the same manner as my staff uses their PDA’S. This also depends upon whether you are more electronically oriented.
Will the Program work for me if I am out of the office frequently?
ANSWER: The Program has been created to equally support those who are away from the office. Each ‘Terminal’ has been designed to travel with you be it in your car or on an aircraft.
How do I keep track of my existing Turtles and Pendings when I am away from the office?
ANSWER: In the spirit of ‘Next Step Mentality’, prior to departing from your workplace, you will determine the days you will be away and retrieve those Pending items that will require follow-up as well as Turtles that require your attention during this time frame.
NOTE: It is recommended that you take with you those Pending and Turtle items that go beyond your scheduled absence in case your time away becomes extended.
How do I handle new Turtles and Pendings that may come up during my time away from the office?
ANSWER: These Turtle items are placed in their proper priority within the Turtle stack that you have taken with you. For those new Turtles that do not require your attention while away, simply place them at the bottom of your traveling Turtle stack. (Upon your return, all of these Turtles will be prioritized throughout your Turtle.) Your Pendings are placed in their proper paper-based or electronically held location.
