S2 Managing Breakdowns

1.Breakdown:Okay, okay! I’ve completed most of the purge, but then I got too busy and haven’t finished the rest.
Consequence:Not getting to the beginning of the Program, hence minimal to no value obtained.
NOTE: In 100% of these occurrences, it is NEVER a time factor, rather ALWAYS a lack of commitment or perseverance.
Solution:Bite the bullet, follow the steps and persevere. This step is very, very important and I promise you that the mind will fight you the most with this aspect of your training. Liken it to being on the launch platform at Cape Kennedy. Without this first step you will not get off the ground. The key is:Start immediately and follow the instructions to the letterKeep on, persevere, do not stop until you are complete
2.Breakdown:Don’t tell anyone, but I’m keeping my archive files in my own office environs.
Consequence:Not having all of the company’s archival information in one centralized location. Taking up valuable filing space in your own area with information that has little likelihood of requiring ‘Instant Retrieveability’.
Solution:You may need to request from your administrator that you be provided with a location outside of your own office space for your archives. The ideal situation for all of your company’s archival information is to be stored in one central location. NOTE – Box up your archived files with the same organizational tools that we have taught you in the Purge and store them away.
